I am a lover of beauty in all its forms
I was born and grew up in Turin; I graduated from the Liceo Classico Statale “Cavour” and in that same year, after ten years of study, I graduated in classical dance from the Royal Academy of Dance in London.
I got my Masters in Architecture for Sustainable Design at the Polytechnic University of Turin. In fact, environmental sustainability is essential today, not only in the design of interiors but also in the design of single objects.
My area of research, initiated while working on my degree thesis, focuses on
understanding better the relationship between interior architecture and aesthetic
philosophy. The fundamental question I pose is: what kind of beauty characterizes architecture?
What is the role of the architect in spreading beauty?
The reasoning behind this being that architecture is not a mute vessel of human life, but a space that inspires, accompanies, protects and generates reactions. This space must be designed for real people, which requires precise characteristics; it is not to be inspired by an abstract and preconceived idea of Man.
I have collaborated with interior architectural design studios in Turin and Paris, where I have designed new environments and renovated existing ones. I have created new environments, and I have tried to balance the harmony between the old and the new, giving life to old pieces and giving importance to their design. As a freelance interior designer, I pay special attention to the psychology and aesthetics of the places I am entrusted with.
My training and my natural predisposition have made me very sensitive to and interested in literature and art and at heart I am a lover of beauty in all its forms.
